Larger Visions is founded on the belief that violence against women can no longer be tolerated.

It is estimated that 1 in 3 women globally are affected by gender-based violence. Gender-based violence includes atrocities such as rape, forced marriage, genital mutilation, inadequate healthcare, and human trafficking.

Larger Visions is dedicated to helping others overcome and transform gender-based violence through providing women-positive leadership training, safe-houses, and rehabilitation programs.

Purpose of Program

The purpose of Women Leading Change is to:

  1. Empower women to step into leadership roles in the social change field through providing skills and experience.
  2. Provide women with the skills and tools they need to be effective agents of change.

Mission

The central purpose and role of Larger Visions is to educate and support emergent women leaders dedicated to social change as well as provide effective outreach programs for victims of gender-based violence.

Goals

-To promote and strengthen women’s leadership through progressive education grants

-To decrease the effects of gender-based violence through providing safe-houses with comprehensive programming to victims of gender-based violence.

-To increase awareness about gender-based violence and its effects through education
